Dear Modiji, I am a patriotic NRI and have been vocal about your leadership despite all odds. Hereby, I would like to grab your attention to a very important topic: DUAL CITIZENSHIP. I have been living in Portugal for past 7 years, for last two years I am eligible for Portuguese citizenship and to hold a passport that can give me visa free entry to 186 countries with all other benefits of EU citizenship. Can you please justify the following: Why can't India have dual citizenship? People like me who try to do best to serve the nation even living abroad, we don't want to give up Indian citizenship, we are proud Indian. But your current policy doesn't help us. Somehow it feels like, GoI has ignored the patriotic persons who do not want to give up Indian citizenship but also for other reasons need to hold another passport. We are being punished, patriots can't hold another passport but ‘other’ Indians (OCI) can. I have only six months to take a final call. Please think about us.

Sir, 19th June is celebrated as National Reading Day in honour of PN Panicker, the father of library movement in Kerala. There is an adage : “ 50% books written are never published, 50% books published are never bought, 50% books bought are never read, 50% books read are never understood and 50% books understand are in fact never properly understood.” This was when people had reading habits. Now people especially like youngsters are losing the reading habits. In the days of mobile, books are languishing in the libraries for want of readers. Hon’ble PM can appeal to the people to develop the reading habits. Books are true friends, they only give and never take anything.
