One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

I want to suggest that, when state govt. or loacal authority fail to fulfill the duty of "SWACHCHHA INDIA",(e.i. seen at New Delhi), There should be a scheme introduced by which the NGO or any institution will be given such duty and grant contributed directly by central govt. to such institution, Therefore, any anti govt. element or local authority of any state do not co-operate in such clean India mission, cetral govt. directly handle such mission under the scheme,It is viable to do,best wishes

On the tax reimbursement benefits salaried people have, every year it's lot of paperwork towards the end of every tax year from employee, employer and guess income tax dept also needs to do lot of verification. Some suggestions: Can we have an option of registering the bills for reimbursement claim right at the point of buying? If I as a buyer opt to register, then i have to provide my PAN no while billing.

India is a Agriculture based country, however our budget does not focus in detail the way it focus on Industry. I would suggest that equal importance to be given to agricultural sector and incentivise the same in the manner other industries have been provided. To wide the tax base, have a system by which every shopkeeper need to pay minimum tax rate and provide the tax rebate to them in the similar manner salaried people have been provided. This will enhance the investment in tax saving schemes.

As per the Sec. 40A(3), even the genuine payment cannot be paid through cash and it create many problems to the business people. The intention of this section may be for the purpose of avoiding unaccounted transaction for limited extend. If there is a system uploading the details as done in TDS, it would be more easy to make the payment without any tension. If the payee is not having any PAN, a certain percentage of payment may be insisted to remit before filing the return.

1. To eliminate black money, the first step I suggest is to withdraw paper currency either completely or allow for a limited amount and instruct to pay all the payment through plastic money, ie credit card. The card is to be provided by the Govt. at free of cost through by forming a separate financial institution. The credit should be given to the receiver without any charges.
