Swami Vivekananda's Birthday on January 12 is always celebrated as National Youth Day. It is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, maker of the modern India. It was first declared by the Government of India in the year 1984 to celebrate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda as the National Youth Day. Since then (1985), it is started celebrating as the National Youth Day all over the country.

To undertake activities by the youth on National Youth Day, it has been decided to invite suggestions from youth to indicate the activities which can be undertaken on that day.

Last date to submit your suggestions is 15th November, 2016

Sirs, we appreciate & thank you for the steps taken down the line toward development of our country. I would suggest that our youth are more intelligent and do more towards development of nation.But,i would bring to your kind notice regarding the reservations in all the public sector fields based on the caste/religion etc. why don't we treat everyone equal and bring the eligible youth come forward towards development.

Indian youth is having highest potential for achieving their goal. The only thing is to set goal at right age. In most of the cases even parents are not aware about the possibilities, in lack of options most of the youth are living their life without setting their life goal. It is a need of hour to create a web-based platform where youth can get idea about different possible options for their future. Based on that our youth an set their goal and achieve their life goal.

The need & Importance of the Agriculture which is a backbone of our nation should be educated to all youngsters and Provided one-day educational tours can be arranged to school/college students to their near by villages. Today's youngsters has to be educated to protect the nature which is the greatest gift which the creator has given to the mankind. If the nature is protected then we make a healthy & Wealthy India. I believe this is the right time to protect our nature in our nation.

Sir, we can create great base for tronforming our economy on this, u can Initiate everyyouth before youth day in any one of nerest assembly to that day, that every youth will teach one aged person how to operate their ATM cards and Credit card if so

Sir, Hats off to the present govt at the centre for taking this bold decision of demonetisation of Rs 1000 and 500 denomination currencies to wipe out black money. It is time now to involve young children (school-and- college goers) directly in the task of nation building by soliciting their service in literacy and body-building drive. This can start from giving old books to children in slum areas, to focus on developing one's own body. The B'day of Swami Vivekananda is the right day to start.

I am a teacher by profession, working in an aided institution. Seeing the present chaos( which is inevitable when the whole country is undergoing cleaning up process) at banks and ATMs to deposit, exchange and withdraw currency notes, my humble suggestion is to use schools as a medium to let families exchange an amount as less as Rs 500 through their children studying in respective school/. College. This will help them have money to meet their immediate needs and also reduce rush at banks/ ATMs.

Hello sir, I wish all success for banning 500 and 1000 rupees notes to destroy back money. I hope with the help of youth let's form a team sir.Which would give report whatever happens around legal and illegal for the government.So this team will make easy to know about each and every small. Places around us to know the problem on. A right time . I am doing this for Modi ji and nation not for political party sir. I want to work under you without salary for nation

hi sir,great to here about your action against black money. i have suggestion you are saying 500/1000 rs notes ban after 31st dec. if any one have 500s or 1000s that money is equal to trash. and RBI has the information how many 500s and 1000s printed till now and how many returned till dec16, if RBI get 50% of 500 and 1000, other 50% is notreturned so RBI can cancel that not returned money and they can reprint that 50% not returnmony in form of 100s or other form so in that way 100% of blackmony
