The Main reason why there is increasing violence against women in India, is due to many reasons.
But the one main thing that contributes to this is the belief that Men or Boys are always better and more worthy than Women or Girls. We have to change this mentality which is instilled in young kids since the period when they are born.

Rashtriya Ekta Divas (National Unity Day) is observed every year on 31st October to commemorate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary. It not only commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India, but also re-affirms the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand threats to the unity, integrity and security of the Country.
National Unity Day this year will follow the theme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsa
