The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The Commission initiates program which aids empowerment and holistic development of women so that they are capable to gain access to opportunities and make their own decisions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was launched in 2000 by the U.N General Assembly. It is observed annually on November 25th. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women seeks to raise awareness about violence against women. This day aims to eliminate violence by removing stigma and encouraging women to speak out against abusers. This day defines violence against women as any act of gender-based violence that results in or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or psychological harm to women. The goal of this day is to achieve equality, development, and peace. It aims toward the fulfillment of women's and girls’ human rights.

In pursuance of its mandate and in order to achieve the goal of ‘Elimination of Violence against Women', the Commission invites inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all stakeholders through MyGov Portal, with a focus on Breaking the Silence against Gender Violence. The aim of the programme is to promote equality, development, and peace among the masses.

The last date to receive suggestions/input is 24th December 2021.

When MyGov app staff work so carelessly what can we expect from the government. I keep writing on this app and am now categorized as Change maker5. I received a call first from a lady Vishakha +91 83830 37281 to confirm my seminar participation on 4-12-2021 at India habitat centre, New Delhi, then I got call from Mr.Verma +91 97178 07072 to confirm and then they gave me number of Mr.Abhinav +91 99719 72101 who later told me that my name is dropped. God save our country

I don't know how much effective is there in deploying Pink Police because majority of places don't have Pink Police patrolling during the night time. So Police patrolling must be made compulsory during nights. And girls must carry some tools like pepper spray, attack rings etc to protect themselves from evil eyes. Sex education must be made compulsory in schools so that children will start to learn about the gender equality from their childhood. They must be taught to respect girls.

Violence against women must be a top most priority which our govt must look on. They must be taught self defense compulsory in their school days. if a person tries to Rape a girl then that girl must be given each and every right to destroy that particular person completely. no case charges should be taken against that girl because she has every right to protect herself from evil eyes. If our Law takes so much time to give justice then people start losing trust to our law and justice.

Respected Sir/Madam I am here to express my ideas on this topic. First of all our law must be made much more stronger. Justice delayed is equal to justice denied. One of the major crime against women is 'Rape'. Don't know why the law allows the acquist to live peacefully in jail and if the concerned aquist belongs to a particular political party or have money will get through easily. The thing is that our law must be made much stronger. Martial Arts must be a compulsory course in institutes.

Very good example of men and women equality is defined in Arthanathishvarar statue. Lord siva says my half of the body is given to sakthi men and women are always equal. There is no siva without sakthi and there is no sakthi with out sivam. Today's scenario both the gender should understand this. Respect each other. understand each other. forgive and take care each other. Each family forms a society parents should live and teach such equality life to their children. surely, reduces dominance.
