To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until 15th July 2023.

Students do higher education as per their marks and financial strength. Scope to be opened for the students from low earning section of the society. These students have to educate little to the poor students and to visit villages to know closely about the need of engineering, science, management, policies.

Good day to all Indians. Suggestions: 1.During COVID , 90% of Indians withstand stronger because of immunity or food habits in India. How medicinal plants, leaf or food recipes that we are following which protected from such a pandemic? Need to teach or implement some of home remedies or Ayurvedic medicinal education from Highschool to post graduation. 2.Every year, we are doing exams to test students knowledge. But, those who scored less or doesn't have graduation earning billions like Sachin Tendulkar or Dr Raj Kumar,Kannada actor. Rank should be based on overall behaviour or skills a student has but not the number of marks that he scored. 3.Give more ranks to Village state government school as students scored good marks with poor infrastructure like they do not have school van, skilled teacher's,labs , facilities. 4.Implement the modern course based on the learning 1.how to remove corruption. 2.Modern technology usage to fight against enemies in the border. ..etc

Good day all, It is important to focus on Government Higer education institutions which was still lack in basic infrastructure facilities. I believe this accreditation and assessment should really improve the quality of the institution through Holistic aspects. Private higher education institutions atleast have some funding patterns to increase the facility of the Institutions starting from basic infrastructure facilities to advanced learning Techniques. I request the periodic accreditation team to look in for the quality and quantitative improvement of the institution after the visit. Thank you.
