To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until June 22, 2023.

Parliament is a temple of democracy. University is a temple of knowledge. Today a new temple is being inaugurated the participation is sacred leaving behind ego & religions. We have a situation difficult to understand from opposition. Are our universities doing their job of creating patriotic citizens & values apart from higher education. Unity is the success of any country. Knowledge, reputation & successful implementation by minds are building block of any University. Darwin wrote a theory on evolution. Do we have any university to understand how Kailasa temple in Maharashtra was built from a single sound rock from top to bottom in that age. Our ancestors have built so many wonderful monuments even modern science cannot explain the basis. Now we have super computers, lazers for orientation ,Gps,power tools still leaves us wonder stuck. They did it with passion, organized team work, skill, hands, imagination & most important dedication to build unique things. Money was not cont'd--

One India One everything , then why not college fees. First provide affordable education. Each institute has its own fee structure, they quote as much fees as they want. Right from school education to Doctorates, no government has done anything to control and regulate fee structure. Even the IITs. IIMs are charging fees at par with private academic business institutes. Education business is the most successful. It takes Lakhs of rupees for completing school education and Government is unable to control and in turn supporting the private schools and deemed universities. First provide basic and necessary education at affordable and regulated fee structures. One India One Fees , even if it’s private or Government.

In india holidays ,leaves allowed In colleges are in large number . But this holidays, leaves allowed to higher education , courses had to be reduced so that the course duration can be reduced. 7 days a week working day so that a 2 year course can be made to one year and attendance a compulsory. Financial support the government should give them support to lower society syudents as now this support are not in any colleges Uniform a must in all colleges , student wearing relegious dress are not allowed In college all society people had to.be goven jobs & goving jobs to a particular groups of people based on caste & relegion are now done in many colleges is encouraged by government for there votes as these activities is not giving jobs to local community in that place is not correct The students are forced to use the college buses as the roads to college are damaged & not having a foot path & no work done is no space for students to walk in to school is not correct

Accreditation of the higher education institute shall be based on the followings:- 1) All education institute should educate the student on the subject by adopting the simple technique of education narrating the physical environment in existence and transforming changes in steps making the human life more comfortable and works as instrument/ tool for future development & augmentation of resources to make country globle economic hub. 2) Credit point must consider ease for making understanding to student and how lectures can make be made more attractive n useful 3) Generally accreditation and ranking is based on no./ Total number of students got employment. If percentage is more accreditation and ranking is better. To make India a highly economy country, accreditation and ranking system to be revised and more weightage to be given to those institutions who gives more number of enterpreneur/ more start up/ more number of student who innovate/ more number of student who become employer

Honerable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi ji. It's heartening to listen to the motivational speech by you to the students accross the country. In continuation to that I would like to suggest if we can have a tension free atmosphere for students in schools and colleges and inculcate the feelings that exams are not the end but just a milestone. The real skills development courses should be more developed and taught to the students. Thanks and regards Yours Faithfully, Mukesh Rawat PGT Physics KV Chittorgarh

Contd----The beacon for overall development is industry based & Gov't requirements of specific tasks. This is my view with limited knowledge and an attempt to participate in this campaign. Accreditation will be stronger with the above points & education system purposeful. A fishing country like Taiwan over years has mastered the art of manufacturing of high technology semiconductors. With all focus by the govt & industry with least infrastructure when they started and best use of human resources.

Cont'd--Blue prints of our education system to be so popular throughout the world in those times. Everyone knows need is the mother of all inventions. We educate our population & for higher studies most of them go abroad. The main reason being infrastructure in the universities. Any research & development usually comes with a high cost & manhours. Then the question arises who's going to finance. To be a successful country need should arise from industry & university interaction. On a highly practical manner to be successful in developing. Now there's a bottle neck a student has to complete his academic course within stipulated time. We should have groups working on one project to reduce time constraints with all merits for the participation. More minds of similar mindset can conclude faster for quality & being purposeful for a common goal with involvement of professors & industry experts. The beacon for overall development is industry based & Gov't requirements of specific --Cont'd
