To address the growing concerns in the present Accreditation and Ranking systems of the Government of India had constituted a High-Level Committee. This Committee considered the introduction of strategic reforms consistent with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and the need for adopting a simple, trust-based, objective and rationalized system for approval, accreditation and ranking of Higher Educational Institutions with a verifiable and secured centralised database through technology-driven modern systems. Methodologies for facilitating Ease of Doing Business for the stakeholders, duly facilitating students in making more informed choices for selection of institutions/ programmes were also considered by the Committee.

After a series of deliberations, a High-Level Committee has submitted its draft Report on ‘Transformative Reforms for Strengthening Periodic Assessment and Accreditation of All Higher Educational Institutions in India’ to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In light of this, MyGov, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, seeks feedback and suggestions from all the stakeholders for the finalisation of the report.

This report has now been placed in the public domain until June 22, 2023.

RESPECTED HONOURABLE PRIMEMINISTER SIR, I REQUEST YOU THAT PLEASE ACCEPT MY SUGGESTIONS ABOUT ENRICH THE HIGHER EDUCATION. 1.ENRICH THE CURRICULUM FOR QUALITATIVE EDUCATION; WE ADOPTS SPIRAL APPROACH OF CURRICULUM FRAMING, ITS LEAD THE STUDENTS AS SKILLED CITIZENS, BECAUSE THIS METHOD OF CURRICULUM IS FRAMING FOR CON TINUATION OF MOTIVATION AND CONTINUATION OF LEARNING, SKILLS. 2. highereducartion is not in a position to spread the awareness about career of the students;so we need to aware the clarity about careers of students is essential for increasing the enrollment . 3.Quality of research is not in a position to promote the idea of innovation, copy, cut and paste culture of making thesis is happened, it's big obstacle of brainstorming of young scientists. 4.students employability is a positive element in the large enrollment in higher education, so we need to improve the opportunities of job oriented training for all, it leads to motivation for enrollment.

Standardized Evaluation Criteria: Develop a standardized set of evaluation criteria that covers various aspects of higher education institutions, including teaching quality, research output, infrastructure, governance, student support services, and community engagement. This will ensure consistency and fairness in the assessment process. Accreditation Process: Enhance the accreditation process by making it more rigorous and comprehensive. Accreditation should be mandatory for all higher education institutions and should be conducted by an independent and autonomous accrediting agency. The process should include site visits, peer reviews, and evaluation of institutional performance based on predefined

Sir, In my opinion Assessment of a higher Education Institution can be done by 1. Compiling the data of how gainfully the students of 5 previous years are employed. Maybe in the jobs or self employment. 2.. The students themselves can give feed back about how well they are employed and also able to compete in their field. 3. Data about their positions held and Remuneration received or profits in their Business enterprises. 4.Offcourse starting with their institutions academic performance every year. 5. Qualifications of their teaching faculty. 6. Financial statement should be of an educational institute and not of Business Enterprise.

respected members, it's a matter of great concern that private educational institutes are now at the optimum level of exploitation, whereas teachers of private educational institutes are very laborious and dedicated to the cause of educating the upcoming generation. There should be an effective mechanism to monitor the entire situation and outcomes.
