The outbreak of the global pandemic COVID -19 presents a challenging time for everyone around the world. Not only is this pandemic a serious medical concern, but it also brings mixed emotions and psycho-social stressors for all. There are emerging mental health concerns with specific focus on Children, Adolescents and Youth as they more vulnerable to heightened level of stress, anxiety and fearfulness, along with a range of other emotional and behavioral issues. COVID-19 has also brought new stressors on Teachers and Parents hampering their capacity to provide positive support to their wards. While it is important to focus on continuing education on the academic front, we must give equal importance to the mental health and well-being of the students.

Manodarpan, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under the AatmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, aims at mobilizing psycho-social support to help Children, Youth, Teachers and Parents country-wide in a comprehensive and multimodal manner during conditions like COVID-19 and after. For more information, please visit www.mhrd.gov.in/covid-19/

MyGov in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, hereby invites citizens to share ideas and inputs to combat the psycho-social stress on School & College Students, Teachers and Parents, caused due to COVID-19 pandemic. Selected comments may be featured on social media.

We are finally entering into a very broad minded society wherein the taboos are addressed . This sets a very good example for the youth of the country who are keen observers of the government . But in such a situation it is advisable to listen to the students . It is definitely a very crucial year for the students but not at the cost of taking a risk with their lives . We believe in our country and that is why we do not lose hope and we keep voicing our opinions . Stay home stay safe .

It is time to take rest. It is good time to learn new skills. My idea is to promote grow plants in home or surroundings area or road side. We also create application to manage their profile and give guidelines to students. Thank you

We all know the situation of covid in all world, in India all teachers still went to school but no student come, for student mental health we make a program in school for all classes with weekly class for certain student of particular class and aware about their physical and mental health, This time we make some environment friendly step, to grow trees in many area with help of student, We can provide some learning game on school level so student develop habits for learning new things

One thing I understood from this pandemic is that we are way behind in terms of technology and infrastructure. We are still involved in an orthodox way of learning. The value of online services and online educational facilities is quite visible right now. In my opinion, we should try to maintain an online education platform. A robust mechanism is also required for integrating the online facilities in rural and backward areas.

Sir since our country is facing difficulties due to covid19 especially young students are getting very stressed due examination fear to the improper infrastructure, poverty in their family, financial problems for attending online exams, and it might effect for family if they go through off-line, so kindly check with their previous semester's performance &internal aggregate value like IITs did.. kindly relief the students from this burden. Thanking you sir🙏
