Let us give e-Literacy to everyone in India. I teach school students to Learn English Online. Last year we invited our teachers abroad to India and celebrated Kerala's ONAM festival with them. Students arranged sale of flight tickets online to earn commission!

Education is just a formalization of the natural learning process which happens anyway in every child(it actually happens right from the womb). It's formalized to let children have an organized learning, & the learning process has to be fun.

Practical experiments should be used to teach all the subjects. How a concept would have been developed by the scientist & why did he need to develop or think over that discovery (reason) should also be told. This will make students think & verify the topics logically & some might discover something new.

Let's have less text books and more of worksheets and labwork. Experimenting and learning is much better rather than introducing the concept first. Give the child an activity from which he or she can discover how the concept has been arrived at. Award marks for the procedure adopted and the application of the child.

Education is a process. It's generally misunderstood as process of sacrificing our childhood joys & just studying for a good future.
How wrong we have been believing for so long?
Education is just a formalization of the natural learning process which happens anyway in every child(it actually happens right from the womb). It's formalized to let children have an organized learning, & the learning process has to be fun.
Let "fun" be there in education & design whole pedagogy to make it"fun"

I would like to say main important thing to develop in kids is MEMORY by the very primitive means which has been working for all living being for ages; and that is MUSIC. Teach instrument or vocal but music makes the difference in life. Please check the following link : http://learningmatters.tv/blog/web-series/discuss-the-value-of-music-education/9041/
It should be compulsory subject and kids need to be serious in that else its of no use.

The main weak point I see in our education system is that it doesn't teach us loving our country. Why don't we have lesson on Shri Ajit Dovel, or Cpt Vikram Batra? Why is speaking Hindi banned in many schools? It doesn't let the seed of patriotism to sprout in children. And effects are not hidden from anyone.
