Poor science and maths education (and English) accounts for 80 per cent of total students who fail in Tenth Board Examination. The low enrolment in science stream at higher secondary level and poor-quality education is a constraint in development of scientific manpower in the country. Science and Maths education would need special attention. We need to deliberate and find workable strategies for strengthening the quality of teaching–learning processes for better outcomes; innovations and diversity of approaches in matters of curricula, pedagogies and use of technology to improve the learning levels.

what will give him a better job. This can't happen till the time, our social support system also improves in parallel. Till the time, our government is not able to provide a sense of financial security to its citizens, those fortunate to enroll in schools and colleges will always keep running behind subjects and courses which have higher employment rates and keep losing track of their own creative self.

The new system must motivate innovation and research. The present system just motivates cramming of textbooks to pass the examination and get a job. This focus is derogatory and kills the inherent innovation, creativity a student may have. As soon as a child enters school/education system, his parents and society starts filling his head with only one goal - Pass the exams and get a job. This approach has to change. Each student must feel free so that he chooses what he likes and not...

This old system of our selection commission for teacher selection is outdated change it have some innovative selection criteria, which will bring the talented pool of teachers on board have some competition across India to pull out talent not by Caste basis. We are striving toward strong India which directly states that the emerging market should talented pool to bring out talented students to hatch. Our system at some stage good but no checks and balance makes it worst, theory practical equal

For English teaching, firstly, need to improve teachers' proficiency. In few schools, students are more proficient in English than Students. To improve English of students, students must start indulging more in English, more you read, more you speak, listen, better would be your english skills both in writing as well as speaking.

1.Need to develop smart & advanced techniques to teach, learn & solve mathematics, science. 2.Teachers need to research & devise smart teaching techniques so that students would enjoy solving maths. 3.In order to make better understanding of concepts, teachers must explain practical applications of various topics of science & maths. 4.Science & maths could also be taught through creative visual lectures, through presentations & experiments. Extra facts helps in grasping concepts of topics.

In ICSE board there is no syllabus prescribed from LKG to 8th standard. Schools are selecting very hard syllabus and parents are forced to buy highly costly books in almost all the schools. Students are facing difficulty understanding the tough syllabus. Which changes the true sense of learning. Please set the guidelines for syllabus in ICSE schools.

Hi, Kindly I am Not here to sell or to make some hype for a book, but I definitely recommend few suggestions which can make the teaching and learning experience enjoyable and with the desired outcomes: 1. English --- Word Power Made easy 2. Maths --- Vedic/Shkuntla Devi 3. Science --- Small basic videos from youtube or graphical representations etc. These small steps as per my knowledge will bring fruitful fruits and helps both professionally and personally in thinking high.

Simplify secondary education. Syllabi till class X is too intensive. The object of secondary education is to produce well-rounded and knowledgeable children, not experts and scholars. The in-depth knowledge loaded on the poor guinea pigs (children) is useless in later life when children move to fields of their choice. Keep maths and science simple. More than half the syllabi we learn as kids comes to use only for teaching our own children! Make education relevant and useful, not just academic.

Dear Madam, We can accelerate new knowledge and make learning Science, Maths and Technology fun with the help of TV, Computer and Mobiles for which following steps are to be taken 1- Providing electricity 24x7 all over India. 2- Every person should be made computer literate. 3- Uniform Syllabus should be followed and use of latest and good quality of teaching aid should be made compulsory. 4- video of Model lectures should be made available and shown in all the schools.
