dear PM Modiji thanks for giving common man a chance to express their views and ideas
for education I feel government paid teachers should be made accountable for quality and quantity of education, there competency should be checked and verified and upgraded on regular basis,
for students there natural skill need to be explored and guide them accordingly
HIGHER EDUCATION needs complete make over, many engineering syllabi is outdated in Maharashtra this should be in line with todays needs

New projects like Medical colleges, universities, big Hospitals, industries, institutions etc.in which a huge amount and human resource are required to be invested, should be opened in the remote areas. becuase infrausture would develop, purchasinng capacity local areas will encrease, employment will be generated, backword area and its resident will come in main stream, burden of population on cities will come to end. ultimately there would be a complete development.

1. We must preserve all our water bodies and monitoring this work must be done by local mixed citizen group and not with state administration. In Tamil Nadu all the urban water bodies and now rural water body areas are being grabbed by unscrupulous people. Stop this all over the country.
2. Strengthen primary schools by appointing qualified teachers. Teach apart from English, mother tongue at least 2 other local languages. It helps in unity and free movement of people with ease of language.

Best education that can be provided to student is through practical knowledge. Schools and Govt should invest so that rather than only reading from books, Live examples should be shown to students so that it will help them think about the process and outcomes rather than mugging the books and scoring marks.

We have to create an interest among the students to learn science and technology by using Information & communication technology. We can simplify the concepts and allow the students to learn the basic things in their regional language/mother tongue. Include games based on maths and science.

Engineering and professional education: Should be more project based. Even students passing out of the so-called premier engineering colleges require ~1yr of on the job training to get to speed. Project based thinking helps develop problem solving skills required in the industry. DESC at IISc is a good example of this attempt. As an extension we should experiment if this kind of project based thinking can be started in High School. This should prepare the students for project based prof. courses

Till 10th class: More practical knowledge based free thinking based classes - rather than rote learning. Questions in exams and grading should not be limited to questions already listed behind the text. Some states have an 'all-pass' default pass policy that should be revoked.

Till class 10, students are made to mug up subjects, especially Science, and hence they lose interest in that. However, they are then compelled to take up Science in the future as well, and the cycle of mugging continues. This leads to bookish knowledge, and not practical ones. Science should be taught in such a way that the student gets interest to explore and learn more! Even in case of Maths, students should be taught diff approaches to a problem. Suggetions should be taken from Manjul Bharga
