Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Farmers are the pillars of India. Each land to be cultivated and improved . Even though GOI has taken many initiatives for agriculture, GOI to focus in the lens of eye to implement and improve the agriculture sector by encouraging farmers to upgrade green, pollution free and clean India. Green India can be initiated by Indian citizen to decrease the pollute gases and aerosols to avoid drastic change in the atmosphere. Co2 in atmosphere can be reduced by trees and plants only.

The first & formost the cold storage should be constructed in every village under the punchayat so that farmer could keep there produce before sendind it into market to save it from getting rotten or from rain, roddents etc. Farmers should be toled by distt agriculture officer in advance from various studies that this year this crop is going to be short so that he can fetchreasonable rate by cultivating that crop. The farmer should be given loans for agriculture related activities at nominalrate

3. PM should announce "crop insurance" scheme for the farmers at affordable rate. Right now destruction is counted Block wise, make it farmer centric. 4. Promote "community-agriculture"...to save small farmers. Land records must be digitally recorded. It will make the system transparent. Bigger plots, efficient use of water, fertilizer and seeds will help the farmers immensely. Profit will be larger, pain will be shared.

Honourable PM sir, I am from Ahmadabad, Gujarat, Gujarat as a state has grown leaps & bounds not only in terms of Industrial growth, but also in terms of agricultural output, kudos to your vision & leadership, it has become a model state , Going forward I urge you to encourage our farmer brothers to take up Organic / Zero Residue farming / agriculture which would not only improve yields, but also reduce toxicity in soil & the overall environment.
