Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Sir, please explain to the farmers how the new land acquisition act is beneficial to farmers. In fact the act should be renamed as “Land Development and Gainful Use Act”. Propaganda on new ordinance needs to be explained to the farmers in a lucid manner. In fact the propaganda has been by non-farmers rather than farmers themselves. It is important that farmers need to decide how they can be partners in the development of the country. This needs to be communicated to them in a layman language.

When addressing Election Rally in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka last year, you had mentioned about your plans to set up Coffee Package industry in Chikkamagaluru, so that the Coffee produced in Chikkamagaluru can be exported with good packaging and will help the local planters. Please do the best initiative in this regard. #CoffeePlanters #MannKiBaat

Sir, If the government provide the job for small farmers son or daughter(less than 5 acres)It is better than to releaseing the poverty from rural area.OR any private sector was giving the oppotunity to farmers because of agri family was not giving good education. Second big farmers above 10 acres implemented some of the small portion of the tax impleted. It is better for escape in tax exempted. If the agri banks was now a days commerical bank to all over india.

Sir Crop insurance to save farmers from losses due to natural calamities like hail stone, flooding, non seasonal rainfall, drought, pest attack etc. Declare agriculture as an industry. Resolve doubts of farmers concerning land acquisition bill. Promote protection of cattle and cows among farmers. Old cattle can be put in community cow shed and their dung can be used as bio gas fuel and manure. Bio gas can be used in village street lighting. Linking of rivers for better irrigation. Jai Kisan
