Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

sir, we should requst to farmers that they should understand that income of kharif crops which we spoil on crackers at diwali that crakers spoil our rabi crops which cause unseasonal rain like this time

Respected PM Sir , i am from East-champarn , dhaka Bihar , After multipal time thinking today i desided to told you a C.B.S.E affilited Scholl in Patahi Block East-champaran Bihar aprox 1400 students study ,before 10 days i read a news paper & i found some criminal announced & Dimand 20 lack from His Director Other wise (Pesawar -Pakishtan) Dohara denge Matlab Students Ko Mar denge , Sir I ask You please told Bihar Gov & Sitting Your MP - rama Devi Ji & MLA Pawan Jaisaiwal Ji Why This Because

3. As profit from bulk fertilizers is less, fertilizer companies put their focus on pesticides, and they do extensive marketing of that. Extensive marketing will definitely make farmers to use more and more pesticides which is a dangerous trend. Govt must discourage manufacturing and selling of pesticides.

कंपनियों के उत्पादन की एमआरपी होती है। जबकि किसानों के उत्पादन की कोई एमआरपी नहीं होती। इससे किसान हमेशा ठगा जाता जाता है। सभी राजनीतिक दल किसानों की समस्याओं पर खड़ियाली आंसू बहाते हैं और उनकी समस्याओं के लिए आजादी के बाद से अब किसी ने गंभीर प्रयास नहीं किया। इसी का परिणाम है कि आज किसानों की दुर्दशा हो रही है और युवा पीढ़ी खेती करने से कतरा रही है। किसान किसी भी समाज का रीढ़ होता है। जिस समाज और देश में किसान की उपेक्षा होती हो, उस देश के विकास की बात करना बेमानी होगी

पिछले दिनों उत्तर भारत के अधिकांश भागों में मौसम की मार से आहत किसानों के लिए कुछ राहत की घोषणा हो जाए तो अच्छा हो।

1. Mostly agri items do not have shelf life. So farmer has to sell products immediately. This weakness helps trader/dalal to negotiate well with farmer. So government must play role of marketing agent of farmer to get good sale value, assured payment etc. Govt must ensure trader/dalal gives agreed money to farmer immediately. 2. Farming and agriculture, uses of fertilizers, organic farming etc must be included in school curricular.

om namasivaya,god bless u sir and mother,i like somuch ur more power but farmers are blood in india andlands are breathing every one and also more hideing roots our nation, pl kindly i request save purly soil,water sours air for all indians we use dry and outer lands use for factory use,75 persent we dont distrup useage land pl make new law for factories to reduce acres why need 100/200 acres for use factoryies,pl modiji take action any through heart no need through brain,is terrible,i requst ..

Sir, Please consider the use of modern farming techniques like hydroponics, initially in a small scale.For example, initially with Govt backing, if hydroponics can generate a substantial tomato crop, then it could be implemented on a larger scale.

If Direct Benefit transfer scheme on Food Subsidy is started this will become main cause of farmers suicidal. farmer are getting best prices of their Crop Due to MSP ( minimum support Price). In Chhattisgarh Govt is buying Paddy (Nov toJan) on support price . and in summer crop of(april- May) paddy Govt is not buying Paddy that time farmers are getting 1500-2000 per M.Ton less price & that time also 4-5% less moisture in paddy which also cost 650-700 Mton total loss is Rs2700/-PMTon
