Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Dear PM sir... I m like your devotee My view is giving loan to farmers is no use... doing a business on loan for loss is total loss So please help them with seeds uriea and agri products The best is make agri as lik govt job provide rent to land formers and give gud salary for the workers will make youth to concentrate in agri work and provide young blood to agriculture... this is a new way to rebuild agriculture and farmers a new life Take agri output with gud pay wil also make gud things

An entry level 4-wheel vehicle is cheaper than an entry level tractor. As a consequence of this, this country has the lowest penetration rates of tractors, if I am not wrong across the world. How do we propose to achieve mechanization in farm activities when a basic requirement like a tractor is so expensive. Is there a specific initiative that the Government is driving to correct this imbalance. What steps are planned to ensure that tractors are bought within reach of the rural livelihoods?

Respected Modiji, I think, farmers should plant more and more neem and aloe-Vera (korfad) trees, at least as a compound to their farms, which have constant demand by various cosmetic companies. This will ensure them continuous flow of income with minimum investment, time, money and efforts.

आप बस कृषि योजनाओं में भ्रष्टाचार समाप्त करा दीजिए. खाद-पानी का इंतजाम करा दीजिए. बस फिर से खेती नफे का सौदा हो जायेगी. मुझे उम्मीद है आप मेरे मन की बात को अपने मन की बात से पहले सूनेगें आपको किसानों का ख्याल आया, इसके लिए धन्यवाद. खेती- किसानी करना मैंने मजबूरी में नहीं, अपनी मर्जी से चुना था.अपने फैसले पर दुख हो रहा है. और मैंने यह फैसला लिया कि अपने बच्चों को किसान नहीं बनने दूंगा.

प्रधानमंत्री जी मैं उत्तर प्रदेश के छोटे से गाव का वासी हूँ। मेरे गाव में बारिश और ओले की वजह से गेहू की फसल का बहुत नुकसान हुआ है। अगर मुआवजा मिलता है तो वो पूरा किसानो तक नहीं पूछेगा क्यूंकि बीच में लेखपाल आदि लोग खा जायेंगे। मेरी आपसे प्राथना है कि आप किसानो का मुआवजा सीधे उनके बैंक अकाउंट में आने का कोई प्रबंध कर दीजिये। सर उनको उनके नुकसान का उचित मुआवजा देने का भी अनुरोध करता हूँ। धन्यवाद, देश का ज़िम्मेदार नागरिक जय हिन्द #MannKiBaat, #PMRadioAddress, #Farmers, #AIR, #MyGov

बीमा आग्र्ह कि विषय वस्तु जरुर है लेकिन हकीकत ये है की जिस किसान की जमीन होती है उससे बीमा का प्रीमियम बैक से ऋण लेते समय ही सरकारी शर्तो के मुताबिक काट लेते है. खास बात यह की बीमा निजी किसान का होता हैक्यूकी प्रीमीयम निजी तोर पर कटता है जब मुआवजे की बात आती है तो वह भी निजी तोर पर ही मिल पाता है.कंपनी की और से जगह जगह लगे सेसरो के जरिय मोसम की रिपोर्ट तैयार होती है!किसान अपने स्तर पर रिपोर्ट तैयार कर नही सकता इसलिय बीमा कंपनी की रिपोर्ट मान्य होती है. बीमा कंपनी जिस आधार पर बीमा

Sir it would be helpfull for the farmers if IMD opens a tollfree telephonic portal, for the farmers where they can inquire about the rainfall in their respective areas. Also, it would also be beneficial if time to time algricultural scientists provide suggestions to the farmers through All India Radio and the farmers should be pre-notified about that program. Also, the taxes on the vehicles used for farming specially should be reduced.

ओला और बारिश से रबी की फसलें चौपट होने के बाद किसानों को फसल बीमा योजना से भी उम्मीद नहीं है। बीमा की शर्तें ही किसानों के लिए मुसीबत बन रही हैं। किसानों से प्रीमियम तो पूरा वसूला जाता है लेकिन शर्तें इतनी सख्त कि क्लेम मिलना नामुमकिन ही होता है। इस पर भी यदि क्लेम मिल भी जाता है तो वो भी नहीं के बराबर ही होता है। प्रदेश में फसल बीमा में विसंगतियां हैं। किसानों को लाभ नहीं मिल रहा है। बावजूद इसके प्रदेश सरकार बीमा नियमों में सुधार की दिशा में अब तक कोई ठोस कदम नहीं उठा सकी है।
