Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

organised and professional farming is required in India. according to soil, whether, demand and supply. contract with farms they will own a land and work according to company. small farmer should join their farms physically so big machines can work and reduce the damage (crop insurance n crop price pre-decided) cold storage must be near to farm don't let the price too low or high.

किसान हमारे अन्न्दाता हैं. उनकी ज़िंदगी की मुश्किल हर भारतीय को समझनी चाहिए और उनका साथ देना चाहिए. आशा करनी चाहिए की दूरदर्शन का किसान चैनल इस भूमिका को बखूबी निभाएगा. प्रधानमंत्री जी, अपने कार्यक्रम में किसानों के मन का दर्द ज़रूर हर देशवासी तक पहुँचायें.

Dear sir, recently many farmers died due to uncertain rains, i was NRI for 2 years & In Foreign countries prediction related weather forecast were so accurate that if in news they say that rain will come @ 6 pm & will stop @ 6:30 pm than accuracy level of that was 99.99%. if we improve our forecast technology + enhance our communication network towards farmers than we can help to our farmers to help to protect their crops & avoid suicide too. respected PM,MODI JI, it is to draw your attention towards land acquisition for DMIC by govt. of rajasthan, it is being done in 2015 but farmers will be paid according to DLC rates of 2012 that is a great injustice to farmers and it also has the policy of payment of compensation in 3 installments which is against poor farmers. it is a centre sponsored scheme so centre should acquire land for DMIC and not the state govt. please pay attention towards this issue.

i would like the Honorable PM touching following issues regarding farmers. 1) Land BIll and how the the bill is not anti farmer. (as the perception is becoming popular) 2) Regarding steps to be taken in case of natural calamities (untimely rainfall and hailstorms). Crop insurance and battling Climate change. 3) PM is requested to focus on how to boost the confidence of the larger farming population who considers himself unfortunate to be a farmer.
