Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Panama Bhai..all those farmers who have enough land to create cold storages near highways must be financially helped to create this facility for the Government to help small and middle group farmers to save their produce and sell it at times when they get better price. The FCCI godowns are anyway overflowing ..this will create income and jobs...Dhanyavaad

Due to the ongoing natural calamities, it is necessary for the govt. to investigate the root causes and form suitable policies for their prevention. For how long will the govt. afford to pay compensation to all loss-stricken farmers?

The help provided by the central gov in any form doesn't reach the farmers but it has become the grazing field for the administration and political Mafia's. So it is very important to cut down the roots of corroption and provide each kind of subsidy direct to the farmers.

Organic farming is good but inorganic farming is also not bad if chemicals are used in moderation. This message should also go to people. Vegetable or grain does not differentiate between chemicals (organic or in-organic source), for it Nitrogen is Nitrogen, source of Nitrogen could be any. We should target to reach to 100% organic but in a planned manner. We Must Respect our Anndata, that is bigger message which should go to whole country

It is the duty of the government to eradicate the disparity in the wealth distribution. If a farmer becomes prosperous it will help our Nation to grow even faster. Industrialisation shall be linked with farming so that we have more and more agro based industry. I think given a chance our farmers have the courage and ability to make India a number one supplier of food in the world.Presently farmers look to be slaves in the hands of middleman.We need to help farmers.

taki kisan ko pata rahe ki kitane bigha me kya ugaya jaraha he. is se use apani fasal ka uchit mulya mil jayega or kisi bhi fasal ki adhik pedawar na hi hogi sabhi barabar matra me peda hogi. 4) har 10,000 aabadi wale gaon me talab banwana chahiye talab banane ke liya sarkar ko JCB OR DUMPER Uplabdh karne chahiye or kisano se shramdan karwa kar talab banwane chahiye. kisan shramdan karege to talab ka dhayan bhi rakhege pani ganda nahi karege or unke kheto ke liyebhi bharpur pani miljayega.

.. Sir, please encourage more to join this noble community. As of today if any one really want to get into farming as profession, he/she needs to go through so many useless and cumbersome processes that it becomes a NO-GO. I request that from Central and state government's side there should be some easy processes for new people (non-farmers today) to get into farming. Not really monetary support but support against hindrances. I want to get into it but I can't even buy agriculture land..

Sir, I still see that farming as a profession is treated as lowest end job in this country without understanding that if we do not have farming none of us would be living. We need you to encourage more and more people to continue in farming and ....

1.24 hour electricity in villages 2.Rainwater harvesting arrangements. Increasing the no. of water bodies in villages 3.Road connectivity to all villages 4.Commutation facilities for villagers to nearest taluka and district 5.Appointment of 2 doctors per 3-5 villages 6.Govt. facility for renting agricultural machines 7.Reduce pollution, increase forest areas 8.Stop sale of chemical fertilizers and peticides 9.MSP to be implemented, mainly for veggies and fruits 10.
