Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Honourable PM ji, Indian agri business needs IT backbone that enables complete transparent supply chain from farmers to consumers and also provides accurate data for Central govt. and State govt. this will help farmers get good price for their produce and also Govt. will know which farmer to be compensated which farmers to be provided with loan waiver and which farmer shouldn't be provided anything. Inclusion of the farmer community effectively will reduce suicides and prosper India. Jai Hind !

Agriculture subsidy and minimum support price should be based on land holding and and irrigation.e.g.Gov should offer subsidy ONLY to farmers having irrigated land upto 2.5 acres and non irrigated land upto 10 acres.Farmers under this categry should get MSP at 125%than other farmers.Subsidy restricted to this catgory should cover subsidy on seeds,Fertilisers,pesticides,crop insurance and labour charges(manrega utilisation)

Respected Sir, Kindly talk at length about the Land Acquisition Bill and please explain to the farmers in simple terms how this will improve the bottom line of our economy where the people left behind will benefit the most . They have mistrust in their mind which needs to be removed . Regards

Sir with full respect, wishes and honour to our PM. I would suggest that you showcase how farmers in Gujarat have grown with your policies in span of a decade. Clear the air of Land Acquisition Bill, if they are in support of same, they can make a misscall to one number read by you at the end of the program. Educate them about Israeli ways of agriculture and set up teams for the same. If things are happening on ground, no opposition can spoil your image. Jai Hind.
