Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Respected Honble Prime Minister, The ponds, lakes and community water sources are to be desilted all over the country besides rain water harvesting in houses to be promoted, so that we could retain the rain water / increase water table. It will increase the agricultural activity due to abundance of water availability. Increase in agricultural activity will reduce people migration to cities in search of work and this will decongest the cities and less strain on city resources.

1)Farmers land is to be acquired only on lease and annual lease rent to be provided to farmers annually the value of which to be decided on the average return of crops of that area. 2)Either gov. or the realty builders has acquired large tracts of farm land for housing but it is lying undeveloped since many years thus creating artificial shortage of land and raising the prices of housing & developers earning huge profit.This should stop.Acquired land should be developed within fixed time frame.

How they can menimize the use of fertilizer, pesticides 2. Tell them in details how to increse soil fertiity with the use of organic fertizer 3. generally many farmers have no ideas about govt. subsidies so please tell them to contact kisan call center sir we are desporate to help farmers please tell farmers to contacts us

#MannKiBaat - Farmers Woes are because Agriculture income is not taxed. For Governments it is a free service to farmers and nothing morally binds them to serve. Universal truth is nothing comes free and here farmers pay though their woes for inappropriate service. Suggest tax agriculture income to an extent like salt in food with an over rider that 100 percent tax will go to Agriculture development & welfare - 50% for farmers' Insurance. Hon'ble PM can discuss it in "Mann ki Baat" with farmers.

We are biological creatures of God. Being human being we may feel proud on having wealth of Diamond, gold, currency etc. Feeling of richness may make anyone happy is doubtlessly true... Meanwhile it truthiness of truth we can't live without the food produced by the our annadata, our farmers.. The Govt is doing very well . .. I am very satisfied by the fact the govt will do his best in making best effort for the best of our farmers... Thank you.

i think maan ki baat with radio is not sufficient, we need to use different mode to cover all 600000 village at a time.

1.Government should provide online platform to farmers for selling their goods directly to buyer, will be advantageous to both, buyer'll get goods at competitive price, seller'll get good values 2.Government should work on to create policy which can benefit end farmers not land owners. Current farmer credit policy benefit only land owners. The actual farmers who doesn't own any land but do farming in others land are completely profitless. 3.Stat solid reasons how benefit land bill to farmers.

Govt. should promote organic farming on large scale through this we can minimizes cost of cultivation and also improve health of our land for coming generations......
