The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

1. Ask companies like Infosys to create affordable CAE/CAD softwares for mechanical engineering. 2. Engage big corporations to manufacture world class ICs(e.g microprocessor, RAM, transistor, etc) in India. 3. Please ask companies to manufacture affordable Indian 3D printers. 4. Give us a corruption free environment. Then sit at home and watch. We engineers shall do the rest. I also promise you that we won't sit until we reach 'Pushpak Vimaan' again

A Website which contains all the open source code should be hosted. It should also contain documentation of the codes. Also the projects should be hosted on an online platform where the users can collaborate to develop the project together. This will help doing things faster.

Swach Bharath should be implemented in all Hospitals first. You may constitute a committee to monitor cleanliness in our country. Those in charge of that area or town should be questioned for lapse and it should be a continuos process. Self esteem of our poor people should be lifted up by counseling and media plays an important role.
