The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Hi All, I would like to bring your attention towards QMS (Quality Management System), Most of the big companies have their own QMS system, on the basis of sequential sampling provided the QMS system auditor do the audit and showed the total quality score of the team, studio and company. My concern was that why don't we follow that process in each, big and small government firm, work or project completed by gov. this will be done on regular basis. So we come to know the performance of projects.

Feedback on the myGov site: It would be good if the writer comes to know if his/her message has been seen and acted upon. Otherwise if we do not know if it is even being looked at, then over a period of time, interest will reduce and stop.

Respected Hon’ble PM Ji Yoga is close to your heart and at UNGA you proposed to celebrate International Yoga day. ‘Is it possible to include Yoga as a part of curriculum in the schools so that children could inculcate it from the very beginning? Children learning yoga at school level will lead a healthy life which in turn will reduce health expenditure for parents. I wanted to share these thoughts with you, sir, on this wonderful platform you have given us to communicate with you.
