The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Every tax payer who pays income tax should get due recognition about his monetary contribution towards the development of the tax payers state or city. Government should enlist the names of taxpayers in a website, thanking them for their contribution towards their city or state. Eg. A tax payer of Ahmedabad should be felicitated by listing his name in front of the development in his city for which his money were used. Love You Modi Sirji.

In order to check fraudulent reimbursement of Air/Train Tkts, LTC Claims, Medical Claims etc., Agencies providing/managing these services must have a public interface(API/Web service etc) by which the invoices/services can be verified for their correctness and originality.

when is the govt going to impose fines for dirtying the places.. howsoever hard you try through campaigns like swach bharat abhiyan , there are some social elements who despite of being educated would dirty the places. u will fine or let things remain the same and just talk as UPA did!! and the same needs to be done nationwide not just in delhi!!!
