The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

It is reducing discipline in people. They are earning money without discipline and violating traffic (going in middle of the road with 10km speed) . I would request Government to bring some activity on name of one of the freedom fighters for this.

As things can be accomplished with team, recognition should be given to entire team not to single person.There are many freedom fighters have not been recognised properly till now. I would request to recognise Bhagath singh, Subhash Chadra Bose and others. I would request Government to bring some activities on these freedom fighters names to not to forget them and to recognise them.

Government should have our own cloud. NAS storage replicated in 4 copies across country. Natural calamities should not affect the working Alternate path must immediately routed automatically. Must be powered from more than 3 fail safe alternate power sources. like 1. Electricity 2. Battery Backup. 3 Solar. 4. Diesel power. Physically within the military base. / Military protected. Preferably underground in High level security. Much more can be written but the limit of 500 words is over.

De-materialisation of educational certificate like share certificate for easy verification. Other certificates like cast certificate, sr. citizen certificate,address verification etc are issued by a govt department to be used by an another department. Why cetizen are subjected hassle for this internal documents. Govt should create a repository and any department may verify these document when necessary.

People feels that value/respect comes with Money. People have been doing scams to earn money. I would request to punish people same manner whether they are Politician, industrialist, captain of sports or any celebrity. I would request Government to bring things, value/respect comes from personality, behavior and humanity but not with money.

Sir please add all fta channels on a signal satellite and launch the governmental set top box. About 90% of the channels are fta but people have to pay fo them so, sir it's an humble request that you launch governmental set top box and add all channels on a satellite.

All government network must use Fiber & dedicated WAN. It must not be directly connected to internet. there should be gateway for connecting internet & GoV net. In this gateway security policies must be implemented. All government matter must be encrypted with at least 2048 bits encryption with government trust provider ( don't use ant foreign trust provider. ) Do not use public Mail such as Gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc. Design dedicate groupware so attachment need not flow in networks,links do

Hello every one ! my first post is look our tamilnadu state.in here our state gov will open the gov TASMAC and they sell alcohol to people to earn money for the government.our young fellow citizens are drink daily and they audit for that alcohol.in our state 8th class student also audit for alcohol but our gov don'tcare that.I HAVE ONE QUESTION FOR OUR MODI WHY HE WOULD MAKE A PLAN TO BAND ALL THE BARS & GOV TASMAC TO SAVE OUR INDIAN CITIZENS.i request to make action..
