Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Sir, our govt databases sit with various departments idle. It should be made open to public like aadhar has done for a price using a secured server and designated agency. This will ensure easy verification for a host of processes, in the process generating revenues for the parent department, which can be re-invested into the systems to make them more efficient.

The GOI must strengthen its cybersecurity infrastructure. India is facing very serious cyber attacks and espionage from China and must ensure that its computer systems are fully secured against such intrusions. Furthermore, India must improve its ability to retaliate into Chinese computers and networks in such cases where such retaliation is justified. By having a competent corps of network analysts, security experts, programmers, and analysts, India will be well positioned to deal with threats.

One of the way to fasten the development is by adding GUI interface to our work. There are many softwares that support GUI. This helps the non technical people to perform tasks like fetching important information with one click, easily putting their views, giving feedbacks , etc.

The policy should cover aspects about collaboration between government applications and private company proprietary products. It will involve database access and security. The rights can be granted based on fees, revenue generation or royalties. Private company copyrights must be protected at the same time. Accordingly, certain areas are available open source while others are under protected domain. Investment in research and development is possible when revenue generation is possible.

China wants to push polluting 'sunset' industries to India http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/China-wants-to-push-polluting-sunset-industries-to-India/articleshow/45310294.cms The height of audacity! Keep your trash to yourselves. On our part, the government needs to bring out very strict environment pollution norms to put a cap on all polluting industries which currently exist in our country, both domestic and multi-national, force them to move to the latest, cleaner technologies

Respected prime minister Modiji, This fact has to be brought to the notice of kashmiri people that their aspiration for a so called azad kashmir can never be fulfilled because even if India gives them azadi, Pakistan will never allow them to remain azad. It will again send criminals in the guise of terrorists and taliban fighters and then kashmiri people will never be able to save their azadi and will then be ruled by talibani laws.Ultimately their so called kashmiriyat will be distroyed.

Is caste wise reservation is necessary today? Many upper caste poor students study hard and get a decent ranks but they will not get the seats which will be occupied by some other low rank rich students of so called low caste. We say our country is secular but we still keep reservations based on caste how much fair is this? Do keep reservations based on economic bases not on their birth reasons.Or you ppl still feel they need to be motivated then train them to compete but plz dont keep reservat
