The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Biggest problem with Aadhaar as of now is that it does capture biometrics we need to link credit card driving license bank account and passport immedaitely. Incentive for such drive to get done can be priorty check in presenting vis applications in overseas countries. Also this can give faster access to some facilities within India. debatable and can work.

Now we are very keen on implementing the Aadhar card system. But it does not seem the govt. itself does not respect it. The card - a valuable card - is issued on paper and does not have any secured system. Any body can duplicate it. Also the data collection and documentation are done by amateur persons, the photos are not clear for identification. This must be converted into smart cards with built in security system and used for all including election identification.

Why various government institutions are using hand written or typed hard copy of letters to exchange various information among themselves. Why they are not adopting emails for this.

We can't close our eyes and wait that people will understand by themselves and stop doing these nasty things. Some hard actions should be taken for women security across country on urgent basis. 2.Some roof arrangements in this season for homeless people in country to avoid unwanted deaths. 3.Need to revisit the policy of alcohol shops across country. Thanks,

It should provide thrust to areas like mobile connectivity, broadband, public Internet, eGovernance, electronically delivering services, National Optical Fibre Network and electronic manufacturing. To reach out to citizens not just in urban areas, but also in the rural and far flung areas must be the priority concern.

Dear PM, Only 15% of population have access to internet where 85% of the population do not have any kind of access to internet, I would like to make a suggestion to you to study British Telecom Broadband Zone (UK) and implement the same in India with BSNL / MTNL with potential dramatic growth of internet users nationwide, implementing suggested technology will have minimum investment and maximum growth for ISP to earn & invest back in to internal infrastructure. Please notify for detailed plan,,
