There should be special schools focusing on science. We have sainik schools all over the country, similarly we should have vaigyanik schools in each state. The admissions should be based on entrance tests. Students from 5th std should be given special training in science, maths. That is what other countries do, so they get more medals in the Olympiads even if they are smaller countries.

Many women settle in their family lives after marriage and don't think of research and higher education. they can be encouraged for higher studies by giving relaxation in age and marks I.e.mandatory55%marks as per UGC norms can be relaxed to 50% for married women.

gone through all the DISCUSSION topics. The most important point is fees, private and convents, trust driven school, colleges, technical, medical institutes race for squeezing parents hard earn money to get admission. Without checking the teachers, professors knowledge, experience. Like show business, industrialist, trusties made education from play school to professional education admission, fees structure swims like share market price. so pl look into this first.

In order to support research and innovation in Indian Institutes, the HRD must setup a new department with a nodal secretary who can facilitate research. Often, researchers in Indian institutes struggle to get approvals for data, projects, collaboration and so on. Having a friendly figure in the government will encourage people to undertake more research opportunities.
