A multi-lingual society recognises the importance of education in languages. While there are some interventions for appointment of language teachers and promotion of classical languages, there is no comprehensive scheme or language policy and we need to have inputs on this dimension.

We need to put in place a mechanism to educate those kids who's parents are not educated and not even seen schools. I just saw poor parents with 2-3 children on road side and I am sure they are nomads and just wondering how to educate them.

We should have a vast library of language resources e.g. books, debates, lectures etc. that can be exposed to students to help them encourage to learn (speak, read, write). Once a student has reached sufficient proficiency in these basic traits, then only the student can focus on higher level of literary concepts. Forcing them to learn poetry writing before they have even finished basic read, speak write discourages them. Focus should really be "Can you express a thought" in language of choice.

In this diverse country, all kids should be encouraged to learn at least 2 languages (local language, Hindi/English). Also, teaching language is most effective when there is regular usage of the language. Also, since language is the most useful tool for individual, we should take away the concept of exam from the language and reinvest the effort related to exam towards more participative events e.g. debates, writing (blog, letter, article, white paper etc.), simulations etc.

Education is responsibility of the society. Like in India prior to Mcauley, we should empower communities to fund education and related infrastructure in lieu of free education for all. Government policy should enable and support communities to fund (local donations, tax collection share etc,), create and manage education infrastructure. Since everyone is impacted, education is a good way to initiate citizen participation in governance. Two outcome from one approach in line with Modi govt. appch

Education institutions are competitive in receiving denotations. This is embracing to middle class & BPL Indians. Efforts must be made to give admission to students living in 1km area, this strategy helps in reducing school bus & pollution. Running schools/colleges is not a business, every student must get same respect. Todays note books are 50% waste, I use to give class work, not home work, I was observing & correcting students during class hours with love. Even today I am taking guest lecture

The biggest gap in education system is gap between different mediums. such as hindi medium and English medium or e.g. gujarati medium or Marathi medium. As I am related to this sector since generations. I believe the best solution for this is to make multi language text books, Include 2 languages in one textbook only. For e.g. std 10 science textbook. English and hindi explanation should be in one book. this thought need more details explanation to understand. I am ready to give ppt on this.

Language learning should be emphasized at the adult level initially with out forcing it on the students. Separate job creation committee can be made which can work independently without getting any disturbances from states. And the migration places could be identified. In TamilNadu, lot of construction works are undertaken with the help of Bihar people. So Tamil teachers could be appointed in Bihar to teach Tamil. In Exchange Bihar could provide people who could teach Hindi in TamilNadu.
