Under Smart City Mission Stage 2 challenge, the Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar has received overwhelming response and valuable suggestions and ideas from its citizens. Under the citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar, organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward consultation camps, City Talk, Field Visits, Stakeholders Consultation, workshops, essay / logo design competition, submission of vision forms, social media (Facebook) based activities etc. to ensure that every citizen (encompassing all age groups and sections of society) must participate in Smart City Proposal making exercise.

On the basis of thousands of suggestions received from citizens of Jalandhar , the Municipal Corporation of Jalandhar has prepared a Draft Vision document for the City which encompasses different aspirations and dreams to be realized for City Beautiful. This draft vision document needs the resident’s accent to make it to the final Smart City Proposal.

So, we invite all citizens of Jalandhar to participate in this review process where they can give their opinion about these documents to make it the best Smart City Proposal.
