Yes it should be replicated for other rivers too. Take strict and time bound actions by the pollution board on the industries letting there waste into the Ganga or any other river with immediate effect without further delay.Derive the WATERFRONT ideas from across the world & imprint Indian cultural design on creating the waterfront. Increase the manpower for patrolling the rivers to fine to those who pollute. How Green Riverfront Transformed Pittsburg can be taken for reference..etc.

All "NALAS" be restricted not to enter in Ganga and waste/bad/polluted water of Factories/Industries should also be stoped. Only then Ganga can be clean

This Cell can also get the assistance of experts in this regard and share the technologies with the stakeholders so that a long term solution can be found to this Abhiyaan. 2.We had participated in the programme but sustainability is very important which is lacking at present. Thus this cell can guide the stakeholders in collection and disposal methods which can be deployed. 3.Amir Khan had also once explained in detail about this aspect and he can also be involved in this programme.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is getting serious attention of people. I propose that a Coordination Cell be established at the Centre to monitor the activities and progress which can be managed by volunteers or retired Govt servants who can be deployed. Following aspects are important: 1. Proper collection arrangements by the local authorities. 2. Proper disposal system. 3. Recycling of waste collected from various sources. 4. Launching incentive scheme for better cleanliness. 5. Involve schools.

Develop small small lush green tourist spots with in the cities along with ganga... If possible include this for Adarsh Gram Yojna for the adopted villages which are at bank of the said river. It will promote local employment and bring prosperity at minimum cost.

There are lot of reasons of increasing Pollution in Ganga and all other rivers such as Industrial waste, untreated drainage in rivers, human waste and activities on river bank etc. industrial waste and drainage treatment required great resources, machines, money etc. So common man can not do a lot for this, hope the government will be working on this 24X7. but yes human waste and activities can be controlled by us.
