Its good that we are thinking of revamping teacher education because future is in their hands. And our focus should be that India's future remains in proper and responsible hands.Mere timely training is not going to help us to update and upgrade teacher but proper feedback is necessary.I am attaching doc because its very diificult to express my views for education in 500 words.

Its not common multiple choice questions. The questions are very high standards and requires logic and reasoning power to solve it. And I have not given any all India entrance test which has massive cheating. Questions are also made set. Please visit CSIR NET website to know more about questions.

A teacher should be selected on the basis of his knowledge and his teaching capabilities not just by a common objective type test where most of the times massive cheating is reported

More over questions that are setup for the students should be prepared by some centralized authority, whether its private or govt. Or at least in case of university they have to deposit their question papers to centralized controller, so that the quality of question paper is upto the mark, not based on rote learning.

Similarly, In case of colleges, teachers also has to pass the entrance exam. First preference should be given to quality of teachers, not on the infrastructure of colleges (like AC rooms etc). As private universities are earning hefty amount of money as donations from students, giving quality teachers to students should be a must. Students can be also supported by educational loan. Students should also have right to express their views to the Govt, in case quality in not maintained.

Further more, Govt can keep control on donations fees that parents has to pay to private organization, because govt is paying money for the teachers

As far as salary is concerned in case of permanent teacher of govt school, it not that bad. But govt schools are not producing any impact because of difference is syllabus that of CBSE/ICSE. Parents what their child to study English. Unifying the education system is required. If we select our teachers by all India entrance based, then Govt should have no problem in paying at least half of salary to private teachers and other half can be paid by school management.
