Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary school teachers in mathematics, science and languages, improving the quality of pre-service teachers and in-service teachers professional development, enhancing the status of teaching as a profession, improving teachers’ motivation and their accountability for ensuring learning outcomes, and improving the quality of teacher educators. The objective of this theme is to assess the existing scenario and provide workable solutions to address the gamut of issues in teacher education in the school sector.

I think the teacher passed by reservation will destroy the future of our students and i know that modi gov. Or any gov. Will never think to remove reservations.

Fortunately or Unfortunately now when a INDIAN applies abroad in case of MEDICINE, ENGINEERING OR any other field, those countries wisely check if the candidates have passed on a reservation seat as they know the quality of such will always be lower as the competition level and their goals are lower.

LET there be no discrimination of marks for any ENTRANCE EXAMS. There may be a reservation of seat for the UNDERPRIVILEGED but do not discriminate anyone on the basis of marks. Automatically the quality of EDUCATION will improve. Or-else not matter what you do OUR EDUCATION, TEACHERS AND THE PRODUCTS OF EDUCATION our students will always be below standards.

As rightly said by our esteemed P.M. Modiji,teachers r backbone of society.I want to focuss mainly on Science and maths teachers from class 8th to 12th.Their proper training should be done so that they can make the subject simple and interesting to understanding of students. for this they should first have full knowledge as well as problem solving skills and also how to teach in a simple and interesting way. I had found lot of techniques for making learning Physics easily.I can demonstrate it.

There should be a centralized website, where each school should register themselves. There they can find every kind of information, such as assignments etc. Students and teachers are allowed to discuss about their problems in the website. And lots of features can be added to bring transparency in our education system.

Teachers should be regularly trained and kept updated about the advance techniques of teaching. A good teacher always leaves an impact on the students. Teachers should be paid well so that intelligent children join this profession and check should be kept on the private schools under CBSE that whether they are paying teachers according to pay commission or not. Regarding assignment I would say that, too much assignment is really bad. I builds pressure on the students, and they just copy-paste the content in order to escape. Only one assignment should be given per year, and it should have value for them as well as society. Plagiarism should not be allowed. We have failed to promote and inspire quality teacher.teacher are over burdened especially in CCE system.teacher working in autonomous bodies especially in JNVS (JawahR Navodaya vidyalayas ) are extremely overburdened as they are engaged in all shorts of students round the clock even can not leave station without prior permission.There is need to increase man power and get them some time for preparing for next day class.

Biomatric system for teachers and students attendance in class Stringent monitoring system of schools/teachers. Training-pedagogy & content based for each & every teacher.
