Teachers are the backbone of the education system.
The system can stand, walk or sun only with the help of strong teaching community.
Teaching jobs in private institutions is so low salaried that talented people do not want to take up teaching.
Teaching in Public sector are affected by reservation quotas, apathy, underskilled and shortage of staff, insufficient institutions.
Government must take responsibility of providing free and quality education at primary levels like a developed country

Everytime I go to home once in 2-3 month I hear that a new teacher has been brutally tortured. As a result teacher are afraid to punish and they just try to avoid any brutal situation. So please make sure that this things should not be of repetitive nature. Students should learn how to respect their teachers and elders. It can only come through their home. Society needs to think of it

Reward and Performance review system should be in place.Only financial aid will not help in growth of the education . Inter state competition among students and teachers so that best practices of one school can be enjoyed in other schools too. Teachers quality and their attitude towards student and vice versa should be revamped drastically. In senior school due to abolishment of punishment students dont care for any teachers.

For West Bengal I can say condition of teachers at Primary school is pathetic they get more than 10K p.m. and they just comes to school for 3 hour or less. Moreover due to no pass-fail system they hardly takes any initiative to teach the students as a result the student became poor finacially as well as educationally. So pls make compulsory graduate students eligible for any teacher. Please make sure education is not only reaching to mass but it is effective too. It should not be a scheme only.

Pl.Visit: http://letscareforeducation.blogspot.in/ This blog is the reminder to humanity that curiosity is the engine if education is the vehicle."Every child is a born artist, the problem is to remain artist as they grow up"Picasso correctly quoted.Einstein said not to judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.We just can't stand here and watch everything these great people stood for destroyed by our schooling system. Are you with me on the journey to remind the world what true education is?

every year, teachers should read 12 books for self improvement. I am reading since one year and it has helped me in my professional and personal life a lot. Personally successful teachers are great mentors.

Common problems in most of schools is that some students do not value & respect teachers & make comments on them. This is due to no punishment system in schools. students fill free to do anything in schools.
There should be little bit punishment so that students do not dare to do such nonsense in schools.
In this way the teacher also get opportunity to give extra knowledge & teach wholeheartedly to students.

Respected and Beloved Prime Minister Sir,
My heartiest gratitude to you for providing us space to express our view. We all know only quality education can make our India superpower for this we need good teacher. But this is highly unfortunate that when some body get selected for Govt school he or she stop learning and they remain involved with unnecessary office work. There must be a review system to judge their knowledge time to time and they should be updated with modern technology.
