2) Reservation in Teaching: Keep education free from the fangs of reservation. a teacher who comes with just 35% in his academics CAN NOT produce the students with 100% marks.

Dear Government of India, there are a few areas where we need policy framework and ACTION with regards to the current Education system in India: 1) Allignement of the state education boards towards a common goal f nation building and not vote building. have observed that the syllabus in many state boards are twisted to keep people away from national mainstream.

Terms of employment of teachers in private sector are only favoring employer. Experience certificate, EPF, medical leave and transport allowance rules are not clear. Long term continuity is absent and this is why the CCE system cannot bring out complete efficiency of teacher and student. In USA and Singapore teacher knows student's family and favorite food and colors also. Private schools are forcing to resign if a teacher refuses unethical service not issuing employment cert.

C.C.E.(comprehensive continuous evaluation) policy has reduced a teacher into clerk cum record keeper and since this system allows students to be careless the net result is that quality of teaching is ruined very fast though academic results are not reflecting it. Parents and their wards are given false impression about knowledge. When such students face hash reality of competition they often go in depression. No-detention policy and CCE has in fact ruined the education in India.

Do we have any method yet to judge quality of a teacher? Quality of teacher evolves out of experience that too if a teacher has adopted this profession willingly. And best judgment on the quality can be given by his/her ex students. Their success stories and feed back must be a factor for judging one's quality and not only academic records be considered. Let us make this profession honorable by providing good serving conditions so that quality young people join it willingly and improve it.

we not only need to improve quality of teachers but major problem now is that a quality teacher is not getting opportunity to transfer quality knowledge because :- 1) Students are not interested to study hard due to no detention policy 2) Teachers are burdened with jobs like fee collection, computer operations(letter writing for management etc) , marks entry uploading/downloading of CBSE board circulars etc 3) Too many extra curricular activities (just to earn name for school). More to follow...

In our childhood life(1976), we have classes on Moral Instructions for students to learn how to lead life with morals and ethical values. Now it is the high time in my point of view that the teachers community requires this type of classes. So I request the hon'ble PM or the concerned authorities to think on my suggestion and introduce such type of arrangements to teach ethical values or professional values for the teachers in the coming new national educational policy.

B.Ed. is taken as basis degree for a teacher and most of what is taught in B.Ed. cannot be adopted by a teacher owing to very limited time he/she gets for actual teaching. All teacher training courses must be based on practicality on one hand and in schools a teacher,s time must not be misused in clarical/administrative work etc. Education policy has some standards about Teacher-student ratio but is silent about student-administrative staff ratio. Due to this teachers are pushed in other jobs.
