Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary school teachers in mathematics, science and languages, improving the quality of pre-service teachers and in-service teachers professional development, enhancing the status of teaching as a profession, improving teachers’ motivation and their accountability for ensuring learning outcomes, and improving the quality of teacher educators. The objective of this theme is to assess the existing scenario and provide workable solutions to address the gamut of issues in teacher education in the school sector.

Just like teachers assess the students, there should be an assessment of teachers by students ( but confidential). Just because a teacher has academically brilliant track record, he/she need not have the ability to impart the knowledge. Even for appointment of teachers, the applicant should be asked to take classes and feedback from students should be obtained and much weight should be given to such assessment by students. An academically brilliant person sans ability to impart is of no use.

यदि हम वासव में चाहते हैं की भारत की शिक्षा व्यवस्था सुधरे तो इसके लिए यह आवश्यक ही नहीं अत्यावश्यक है की शिक्षा से जुड़े सभी लोग शिक्षा की वास्तविक समझ रखें | चाहे वह किसी संसथान का चपरासी ही क्यों न हो कहने का मतलब यह है की उसके पास शिक्षा से जुड़ी कोई डिग्री या डिप्लोमा अवश्य ही हो.

there is no shortage of CTET or Other TET pass Candidate. There is only shortage of will power of Govt. where they say that there is too much shortage of Teachers in india and we should to give some relaxasation in this case.Govt. have all the data and they should to appoint Qualitative teachers in Schools. If some one have degree in Ele. Education Of M.Ed. then there is no any special provision for such kind of candidate to be Lecturer in DIETOr SCERT.there should be provision for that .

If we want to transform India then we have to change our Teacher education system. If we provide eduction to someone in regular basisand others corresspondance of Distance education then what is the mean that. I am working In institutuion of teacher education and I have a lot of example whrer pupil teacher says about that we r just coming to have a diploma or degree. and they also give argument that one person can have same diploma in 2 month and then why we are here for 2 year long. this is not

Teacher education and certification presently is in a very bad state. It serves absolutely no purpose to differentiate in the quality of teachers. Since teachers have to keep learning and upgrading their knowledge and skills, regulatory bodies can institute a centralized testing and certification process with different levels defined. On line testing has made it feasible and viable.

शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सुधार हेतु नियम लागू करना होगा कि जो भी व्यक्ति राजनीति क्षेत्र में संसद सदस्य से वार्ड सदस्यब या सरकारी क्षेत्र में केबीनेट सचिव से किरानी तक, सभी के बच्चे‍ सरकारी स्कू्ल में ही पढेंगे और जिनके बच्चे सरकारी स्कूदल में न पढते हों उनकी 'सदस्यीता' या 'नौकरी' समाप्तं किये जाने का प्रावधान लाया जाया। समझ सकते हैं कि जब जिले मे 'सांसद' और 'डीएम' के बच्चे सरकारी स्कूील में पढना आरम्भ कर देंगे तो उन स्कूूल में शिक्षा का स्तार क्या होगा और पढाई की गुणवत्ता क्‍या होगी।

IN THIS ERA OF EDUCATION STUDENTS MUST BE GIVEN RID FROM THEIR SCHOOL WORK AND THEY SHOULD BE GIVEN OPPURTUNITY TO THINK UNIQUE AND SOME INNOVATIVE IDEAS FOR MODERN,HEALTHY,DEVELOPED AND SUPERB INDIA.THE COST OF EDUCATIONAL FEES MUST BE MINIMISED AND RESERVATION SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM EDUCATIONAL FIELD.
