When popular people appreciate their teacher's influence on their life, such teachers should be recognised by the government and felicitated. Such a mechanism will serve as an incentive for other teachers not to neglect any of their students and give the best teaching.

Patriotism should be emphasised in teacher's education. Teachers should be made proud of their profession. Teaching should not be opted as a last resort.

The government should make a law that teachers would be accepted in a school only if they are bachelor or masters of it and are approved by the students they may teach. Teachers should be tested before they are on-duty. The teachers for every class should be admitted carefully and with great importance.

Not just only by paying more to the teachers, rather than enhancing the quality of education in the schools especially in the government ones. Most of the teachers of the government schools cannot answer the name of the nation's PM or President when asked to them or they don't know how to spell the names of the months & days. Having these quality of teachers in most of our government schools, we can't think of building a modern india. First of all, what is required is to ensure good quality teac

first thing to get good teachers , we should lure them by paying more.
many people dont become teachers in govt schools is because low pay scale.
second thing, training of teachers . teachers should be trained to use the child psychological methods, which makes handling the child and getting its attention easy.
third, the playway of teaching.

As rightly mentioned by other members in this forum, we need teachers who can bring the real life insights and inculcate the student to think, research , debate and come out with propositions. Easy said then done. Very difficult to get such insightful coaches / teachers. Even if they may not clear & get good score, they should be honoured & facilitated.

Why Can't we Look at the Pedagogy of University Course Teaching & bring about a change in line with IIM's / MBA's case study method, field work, industrial projects etc. At the end , we need the students to expand the way they think and apply themselves to resolve issues and problems. Current system is very theoretical & have no linkage to practical live's.
