In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Tumakuru a Smart City. The citizen feedback received in Stage 1 and 2 of this Challenge have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and prioritized Area Based Development & PAN City projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

As part of the process for Round 3 Citizen Engagement, Tumakuru City Corporation is inviting everyone related to Tumakuru for your feedback as well as valuable suggestions on the proposal.

Using various payloads,microdrones can be deployed in any situation.For example,with a laser scanner a comprehensive recording of the scene of a traffic accident can be made,which simplifies the drawing up of the accident report.

Besides this report, the most important results are available on the project homepage, www.smartcities. eu. With the implemented online database it is possible to get an insight view on the 70 cities and their comparative strengths and weaknesses on the level of characteristics and factors.

Transport A smart city does not require an automobile to get around; distances are short, buildings are accessible from the sidewalk, and transit options are plentiful and attractive to people of all income levels

On the other hand the citizens of Luxembourg have language skills (at least one foreign language) far above-average. The analysis on the level of indicators provides most detailed information on a city’s comparative performance.

The city proposes to make the development all inclusive! While the Smart City project brings convergence of all ongoing programmes and schemes, it would be the endeavour of the City Corporation and the Consultant to include as much smart features as possible under the Retrofitting and Pan-city projects that are taken up under the project, hence bringing the slum dwellers, economic weaker sections, homeless, and else under the umbrella of inclusivity
