We are started a cottage industry which will educate the people on save the girl child...as we are manufacturing a cement benches with slogans which will educate the rural people who will use the benches for sitting and give the good message to the people and it will be giving good Campaign save the girl child

Because what we need is an ATTITUDINAL SHIFT from preference for a particular gender and KILL THE NOTION OF "PARAYA DHAN"..

can't we have a legislation or a public advisory to encourage women to use their original surname even after marriage and allow autonomy to children to choose their surname of either parent or a combination of surname of both parents?? This shall propagate the message that a child is born to both parents, not just to father's lineage and provide impetus to an attitudinal shift towards women empowerment, equality of the sexes and might help in tackling the issue of female foeticide/infanticide.
