Grampanchayats adjoining to any city or metro is always neglected and is on a verge to merge to adjoining city corporation, only reason behind this is the comparison of the facilities and funding in both the governing bodies, instead of funding more to corporations government should emphasise on gram panchayat, it will improve rural life, reduce people migration towards city, empowerment of rural youth.

1. Post Office should be given banking license since bottom level postman have reach to all villages
2. lic should be given banking license since lic agent have deeper penetration in rural area
3. postman and insurance agent at rural India have full potential to complete financial inclusion
4. post office & lic have potential can become bigger bank than State bank of India thus complete the need of bigger banks
5. we need big banks, small banks regional banks all types of banks, cant depend on

Hi, My half of life has spent in Village.I would like to share a real example here. My Village name is Chakua and it is very close to "River Brahmani". Every year there is flood in Brahmani river. Water comes to each and individual person house every year and not only it comes and it takes 3/4 days to drain from houses. People used to stay at roof. I agree Government provides relief funds and other stuffs. But this is not solution and long term plan. This can be done if our development officer !

young educated people should be involved in panchayat for decreasing corruption in villages as mukhiya n all are mostly criminals with no sense of development.........even there the transfer of money should be open so that people could know how much money comes in my villages an how they are utilised...........make separate website for each panchayat

The village fairs can be a good start. There are a number of stalls which can be put up with a variety of entertainment scopes.
