If we survey and collect the data, in urbsn areas single persons have many plots of land only for the asset purpose. Those lamds can be easily made available for the needy people who don't have roof on their heads....

I think real estate sector has been developed in such a way that a roof is out of reach for a common man. In my suggestion those citizens who are filing their returns properly should be provided a house easily by banks. I mean to say banks should liberalise their policy for housing loans in terms of guarantee and all
Because if a middle class who have a very small source of income can't afford to have guarantee in terms of asset or third party will also not support them for loan purpose....

Mumbai real estate has been spoiled by NRI investors( mostly by Remittances) who have $s or Euros to invest in Mumbai real estate which makes it impossible for local buyers to buy a decent house at affordable prices. Whereas it is good for economy (and real estate developers)to have NRI investment, I think we should have cap for such investments at least in Residential housing segment so that local middle class buyers can also have access to world class housing at affordable prices.

All Urban project must follow green formule like maximum utilization of solar energy, bigger green area, water harvesting. Until we dont start using nature in natural ways, we are going to disturb environmental equations. So all projects must to give shelter to human being and also to preserve nature.

I my view the demand for housing is nt growing as it looks.Due to black money infused and most of the ppl having more than 1 house (smtime in the name of relatives),demand for land & housing has been increased in last 10-15 yrs unusually.India need to stop this trend to keep 2-3 houses otherwise thr will be shortage of agricultural land and other natural resources like water, raw material for construction due to growing population in future &create danger for food security & economic dis-balance.

1--Land acquisition Ordinance/Act, must be reviewed in line with Andhra Pradesh Govt rule of “Land Pooling”
Or even my suggestion dt 18/11/14 are more practical to be more acceptable by public
2—Regularization of residential / housing old colony’s in BJP rule states is urgent need of time, otherwise it is generating negative waves against BJP.
3—At present helping Kejriwal may be Win- Win situation

when we say all, we mean the population of 2022 ! That is a stupendous task. Population is growing and as it is, there is a shortage. Unless we go for high level construction every where, which means Lifts, water storage, fire hazards , all this to be looked into. there will be many Ambanis building huge places for the few people, and the construction material is always in shortage. And they will be surrounded by shanti huts, the place for menials

I have seen the hutments along the roadsides being converted into pucca structures but, of late , the work seems to have stopped. To begin with this should be resumed quickly.
