China has invented a nuclear battery which can provide current for 50 years without charging it. India must also work up on such research and development to reduce the expenses and pollution content in air.

India has large mineral deposits suitable for producing Lithium, essential for manufacturing batteries for electric vehicles, and a few Joint ventures have already started functioning. So, India is well poised not only to sustain but to expand the electric vehicle industry. Thus, Indians changing over to electric vehicles have the assurance of stable industrial backing.

cont'd---- In EVcars they have generation mode which is most important for 3 wheelers & two wheelers. We drive & are ignorant about brakes, slowing down, on slopes this energy is wasted as engine works as a Compressor with idling fuel in petrol or diesel engines. Whereas in EVs & hybrid car charge batteries during this period. This will give higher mileage depending on topography of the place. We need to mass produce highly economical dc generator and the circuit required within the country suitable for autos, two wheelers.

Indian auto market is a price sensitive segment. You really don't have to market word of mouth decides. General opinion about EVs is vehicles are expensive & high cost of the replacement batteries. If taxi, auto rickshaws are comfortable the market is enormous. As their running is more It needs to be financially low & hassle free with charging stations. Single charge max kms possible would be their priority. How do we drop the prices to match petrol or diesel version decides the market.
