Bhopal has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The state is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Bhopal hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Bhopal for making ‘Bhopal a smart city’. The residents may post their view pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, transport, health and educational facilities and city surveillance among others. Residents are encouraged to write the pain areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Bhopal a model smart city.

The traffic management needs to be improved not only from traffic policing side but a common user should be sensitized and awareness drive should be conducted.

सारे चौराहे बड़े होने चाहिए तथा ट्रैफिक की समस्या के लिए पूरी तरह से जनता शासन को मिल कर सहयोग देना चाहिए, जिससे शहर का विकास संभव होगा

Some definitional boundaries are required to guide cities in the Mission. In the imagination of any city dweller in India, the picture of a Smart City contains a wish list of infrastructure and services that describes his or her level of aspiration.

शहर के जिला अस्पताल आदि ऐसे कार्य़ालय़ है जहां बिजली के तार कई जगह लटकते हुए दिखाई देते है,जहा तक की सङको पर भी बिजली के तार लटकते है कई जगह वायरिंग बदलवाने की भी आवश्यकता है ऐसी जगह पर भूमीगत बिजली के तार होने चाहिए।

समस्या है जनसंख्या वृद्धि जिसके कारण हमारे शहर में बहुत आबादी बढ़ गया है खाद्य पदार्थों में कमी आना, नलों में समय से पानी नहीं आना और हर वस्तु मंहगी होना जनसंख्या वृद्धि के कारण ही होता है,इसे रोकने के उपाय हमारी सरकार को करने चाहिये।

Good water and electricity supply, sanitation and solid waste management, efficient urban mobility and public transport, IT connectivity, e-governance and citizen participation, safety and security of citizens.
