Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

शहरामध्ये सार्वजनिक ठिकाणी धुम्रपान करणारे तसेच थुकणाऱ्यांवर कार्यवाही करण्याकरीता एक पथक नेमूण त्यांच्यामार्फत त्वरीत त्याच ठिकाणी कठोर कार्यवाही करण्यात आली पाहीजे. खऱ्या अर्थाने शहर तेव्हाच स्मार्ट होईल जेव्हा प्रत्येक नागरीक ते स्वच्छ ठेवण्याचा प्रयत्न करेल. पण त्यांना ही सवय लागण्याकरीता प्रथम पथके नेमूण धुम्रपान अथवा कचरा इतरत्र फेकणाऱ्यावर दंडात्मक रक्कम आकारुन किंवा कठोर कार्यवाहीस सुरुवात नवी मुंबई महानगरपालिकेस करावी लागेल.

Pl do not compared with foreign countries to look like as smart city. Their culture,atmosphere,locality,politics,rules etc. are different than our country. pl make walkway free from hawkers,proper parking facility and proper hoarding should be make city smart. Good Civic services will be or are providing by Corporation.

नवी मुंबई शहरामध्ये सर्व सुखसोई आहेत. मात्र येथील नागरीकांची गळेचेपी करतात ते एम.एस.ई.बी. म्हणजेच विद्युत पुरवठा करणारी कंपनी. एल.बी.टी. रद्द झाल्यामुळे नवी मुंबई महानगरपालिकेचे मुख्य उत्पन्न स्त्रोत बंद झालेले आहे. त्याच आधारावर जर नवी मुंबई महानगरपालिकेने विद्युत निर्मिती केली तर महापालिकेस उत्पन्न निर्माण करता येईल. तसेच, संपुर्ण जगापुढे एक स्वालंबी शहर म्हणून उभे राहता येईल. तसेच नवी मुंबई शहरामध्ये शक्य होईल त्याठिकाणी सौरउर्जेवर चालणारे यंत्र बसवुन विजेची बचत करता येईल.

जवळपास सर्वच शहरे बॅनर्स/होर्डींगमुळे विद्रुप दिसतात.नवी मुंबई शहरही त्यास अपवाद नाही.अशा बॅनर्स/होर्डींगचे विघटीकरण होत नसल्याने निसर्गाची हानी होते.सध्या डिजिटल युग सुरु आहे.याकरिता स्मार्ट सिटी मिशनमध्ये नमुंमपाने डिजीटल बॅनर्सबाबत विचार करावा.डिजिटल बॅनर्स/जाहिरातीकरिता सर्वेक्षण करावे व जागा निश्चित करतांना सर्वकष बाबींचा विचार करुन त्याचठिकाणी हे बॅनर्स लावावेत व त्याबाबत जनजागृती करावी.इतर ठिकाणी होल्डींग/बॅनर्स लावणाऱ्यांवर कडक कारवाई करावी. मनपाला या धोरणातून एक चांगले उत्पन्न मिळू शकेल

Also the pedestrian facilities should improve to make walks a pleasure with visually appealing covered pathways with fans plants etc

The city is relatively young , the city should have its history museum and should develop its identity and culture . It should have cultural events in public places it should hosts and promote international concerts as well as theatre

11) Alternative sources of energy should be used rather than fuels. Areas prone to good breeze should be equipped with windmills and solar energy should be utilized. 12) Internet is a must! Wifi connectivity should be available at public markets or prime locations.(Though it is charged). 13) The railway stations should be maintained well. The platforms and the subways should be cleaned daily. 14) It seems Navi Mumbai needs more multiplexes. Cinemas should be inaugurated. Thank You

Continued... 7) Encourage investors from different places to invest here and tell them the benefits. 8) Improve the air quality index by planting of more trees on barren grounds where no activity takes place. Also increase the quality of public transport which will encourage more people to use it rather than cars. 9) Portholes and Nullahs should be covered in order to eradicate disease causing germs & beautify the city. 10) More parking facilities should be built like one in sector 17.

Continued... 4) Sport & fitness centers should be established. This will promote India to abode the future Olympic games. 5) Recruitment of less corrupt officials/police should be done in order to promote positiveness in Navi Mumbai. This can be done by increasing their wages & keeping a strict eye on them by high-end officials. 6) If possible the government should be able to manage funds to accommodate the homeless. This will not bring shabby look to the streets and will be a boon for them.
