Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

In my opinion Navi Mumbai can become the true jewel of India if acted upon my following suggestions... 1) Proper maintenance of public parks, roads and areas. 2) Strict rules (eg. Rs.500 fine) for littering/spitting/urinating on public spots. This will help in sustaining hygienic conditions. Proper dustbins should be kept on roads to prevent people from littering. 3) The government is involved in less action and more of formalities. The Navi Mumbai Airport is still a dream for citizens.

Since we don't have space problem in navi mumbai..We should develop big sports complexes which should have moder aminities and experience coaches and it should have all the sports ( swimming, running, hockey, football, badminton, squash, long tennis, chess, judo, karate, yoga and meditation centre) them concept,one place which should have all theaters and food joints, one all ammusement centre etc

Connect navi mumbai with mumbai via metro..metro can be built on elevated root on the existing railway tracks..CIDCO should release bigger plots and should invite reputed builders to make modern housing complexes with moder aminities

From maroj signal at Palm beach road till DPS school signal in mangrove area make beautiful and wide jogging track..This will help in keeping to se area encroachment free and residential of this area will get some proper place to jogg.it can be mini seashore and we can put palm trees all along the jogging track to extend the feel of palm beach..

Sector 11 sanpada, repair the main road and footpaths clean the open area near Juhinagar station and beautify that area with landscape..put plants and flowers ..I am ready to bear the cost of the person ( mali) who will maintain that area

Let's make sector 11 sanpada pure clean, green and smell free residential area.with very little investment it will become very beautiful.pl make the park on plot reserve for park so that children's and elderly people can enjoy.sector 11 sanpada from Sai Ansh till Millanium tower cover the nala and make jogging track

...continued : plot reserved near Juhinagar railway station for park is been used by some local leader to keep his working staff.illegal parking of heavy trucks near Millanium society, open area near Juhinagar station is urinal ground of auto drivers.over all with little investment this place can become very beautiful...In navi mumbai turbhey area many rock crushers have mushroomed and they are creating noise and heavy dust polluTins.

Sanpada sector 11,it's full residential area with all top banks having their branches here , but this sector is one of the most dirty sector, condition of road ( specially from bhoomi hight till Sai Ansh society is pathetic ) one side of the road the walk way has never repaired, no tiles on the walk way...from Sai Ansh society plot 7, sector 11 till Millanium society the nala is open and foul smells is unbearable and it's breeding ground for mosquitos...the plot reserved for public park near

In Airoli, Navi Mumbai, Tee-junction near Priyanka Hotel in Sec-3/Sec-2 has become accident spot. Two persons known to me have suffered fracture & injury in recent past . Tee-junction is between Airoli Main road & Road leading to Datta Meghe Engg College. Regulation in traffic is needed at Tee Junction.
