1st of all, let me Congratulate Team NMMC for getting selected in SMART CITY List.
As an Navi Mumbaikar I would suggest to have DUSTBINS on every Junctions, so all can through there wastes in that. Waste should b cleared on every 5hrs. so I don't smell bad n also don't get mosquitoes & flyies near it.
I think we should have Lane wise Committee Members from each Bldg. to look for the same, so by this Govt. of NMMC also gets less Pressure on Cleanliness.
I wish all the Best to Team NMMC.

If its possilble the araea around vashi station upto highway they should restrict the dog.The street around the vashi should also manage well and the car parking area and auto stand area should manage well.Atleat one station we can make one station clean and beautiful . I like to request NMMC or civic body to make the vashi railway station beautiful in india. There is 15 railway station in navimumbai where we can do the same thing and make the clean if possible .

I stay in Navi Mumabi and i used to travel Vashi Station daily.I like to say the vashi station surrounding is very good but still we need lots of work to do whenever i got outside the vashi paltform we see garbage store infront of the inorbit mall which look very bad and its smell bad also. I like to request you that if NMMC remove the garbage site from vashi station and make the station clear.I like to notice about the toilet of the station which is very dirty.

The followings may be few suggestive measures for a smart and clean city: 1. Street washing before sweeping; 2. Use Bio-disposers to dispose kitchen / bio-degradable waste directly to sewer network. 3. Areas without sewer network may be provided with Bio-digesters for tackling bio-degradable waste. 4. Manage all type of Solid Waste separately without co-mingling for efficient reuse / recycling. & 5. Prefer to provide decentralised sanitation facilities, community managed & self sustainable.
