As part of the Ministry of Urban Development’s Smart City Challenge, Udaipur Municipal Corporation has recently completed the round one of the citizen’s consultation. Based on the outcome of round one, Corporation is now preparing to undertake several activities for citizen’s engagement in round two. As part of round two, Udaipur Municipal Corporation now invites suggestions/ feedbacks on one of the priority area i.e. ‘Transportation’ required by Udaipur city to be smart. E.g. GPS based public transport, smart parking, etc.

You are requested to give your opinion on the services/solutions that are required in the Udaipur.

Last date for submission is 4th December, 2015.

Presently,many people are opting for petrol and diesel based as they are cheaper than electric cars.As the present generation of electric cars cost more than gasoline based cars,Central govt. subsidy of at least 50%of price of the electric car can be given across all towns in India.It will be even smarter if this subsidy is funded by road tax paid by the millions of gasoline based cars and motorcycles all over India

Waste product which are produced by factory or restaurant should b separated in efficient manner dont through or make proper sevrage lines so that waste product or polluted water could not mix with lakes . mr Chandra Prakash Choubisa

To make smart city first of all we should know the meaning of our city.and don,t through garbage outside house or public place here and there must know our responsibilities first. MR. chandra prakash choubisa

The Whole City Should Be Connected With One Dedicated Channel Of Public Transportation And The Frequency Of The Mode Of Transportation Should Be Which Make People Enthusiastic For Approaching Towards Public Transport, And With The Help Of ICT Citizen Can Know The Status Of Vehicle From Any Point And Also How To Reach To Their Desired Location From Current Location With The Help Of Public Transport.

Good quality AC low-floor hi-tech buses for public transportation their routes,expected time of Availability at different bus stops should be GPS based & should be available online for the daily commuters and tourists moreover there should be prominently placed good bus stops with electronic displays of next bus availability .
