The government must first improve the debit card type. It should be a flash card as per the foreign system. The gov than make effort to apriciate for the auto mated banking facilities where a person can easily operate his account buy only inserting his debit card,he can make withdrawal & submitting mony by him self. The banks should be enough smart that the majority if work can be done by the customers them selves. No need to assist any employee of the bank to serve him.

My suggestions: 1. Improved infrastructure (IT & Non-IT) and facilities should be provided. 2. Adequate staff is a must. Banks should work/do more. 3. And, more importantly PSB staff should view their work as "Service-to-the-people" and accept a reasonable compensation itself for their "service". After all, "Service-to-people" is "Service-to-the-Nation". 4. Banks should provide good returns on savings/deposits and use their funds creatively and productively to generate more income/profits.
