Performance of the banks depends mainly on working staff. It better to employ only 12thStd. passed apprentice regularize them like in armed forces, than recruiting Graduate and postgraduates as they are considering themselves as Bankers but not knowing what is exactly banking economics. At management level along with economists there must be team engineers and agriculturist with a vision of long future of at least 50 years, excluding IT as Information is not a technology. Apply and get good.

A burning problem and very easy solutions !!! A Banks gives loan to Mr X against a property mortgaged to it. Mr X now goes to B bank and against the same property obtain loans. After the accounts become NPA. A Banks takes action and it is countered by B Bank. Matter goes to court and both fights with the help of great lawyers and with full team of Bank. Property sale stayed by court. case go on and property not sold. Like such I hope thousands cases are pending without any result. sir pl resolve

Among all govt departments bankERS are dealing with highest risk in all aspects. Also they have more responsibility. Anybody can tell the difference between risk and responsibility of an aircraft pilot and a bus driver. Even though both are carrying a public travels vehicle but level of risk and responsibility is different. Hence they wages are different accordingly. But the same is not woth case of bankers and the same is affectig their morale and the performance of banks.

Since the Job satisfaction is not there in PSU bcoz of Low Salaries and High Risk involved in every aspect of Banking Job... Firstly, Youth try their best to enter in Banking Industry.. But when they got entry.. Most of them got demotivated and frustrated by all the above mentioned things along with Tight working schedule which includes work late in evening and even on Sundays too... So, all these things must be same as in Central Govt. Jobs...

PSU banks are very good in customer service. Their only target is to send the customer satisfied. I cant name any other govt department with so much transparency. I have seen so many bank staff workin till late in evening daily. I dont think they are paid extra for extended working hours. In contrary most of govt dept are getting closed on or before time. I have seen them going on strike for wages. They should be paid at par with other central govt employees.

I think the present salary scheme Will be removed and the increment of the employee is done on the performance basis whether officer or clerk. The service and the condition of public sector bank automatically upgrade.

1) Itc means how to make PSBs more competitive. In any Service Sector enterprise, performance is a function of its service provider (employees) 2) Making it competitive would mean manning it with right talent. Recent exercise to select CMDs through a 3 committee approach was a step in the right direction, though a bit late 3) Things are still in control as the current breed of top Bankers still come from 80's when Bank PO was a respectable job 4) Bring back the glory of this job by acting fas

1. Increments of staff should be performance linked. This includes feedback/inputs from public. Presently, many of them are just careless about their behaviour, attitude. 2. Staff should be thoroughly trained regularly in soft skills so that they interact well with public. 3. Transfers of employees should be reasonable - away from family, in far flung areas, in different states, etc. brings lot of discomfort, change in food habits, away from family/friends. Lay limits on this n get more perform

The problem with Public sector Banker especially officer is that every time a sword called "CVC" is hanging on their head. Any decision taken by them is looked in the vigilance angle once the decisions becomes bad. First thing any PSB management will do is to start filling "STAFF ACCOUNTABILITY FORM" once an asset becomes NPA. This will put up a lot of pressure on PSB officer. He/she will never be able to take decision by knowing that this SWORD is hanging. Some thing should be done for this

Bank ki paying capacity govt ne hi ghataya hai. Jandhan, Manrega, FI etc jaisee yojnao se Banks( PSBs) par unnecessary load padta hai and due to nonprofitable crowd PSBs are loosing good customers to pvt Banks. BF/BC model may help PSBs to avoid unprofitable crowd but same time the Model should not be a burden for bank's staffs. Either banks should be used for charity or Bank's should be said to make profits. Both are not possible.
