Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Respected Mr. Prime Minister, As a monthly theme for celebrating Mahatma's 150th birth anniversary, we should focus on mental cleaniness of indian citizens in this month, if we make our mind and soul honest 90% of the social issues of india will be automatically solved. "Revolution starts from oneself". I want the government to start a 'change yourself campaign' like 'fit india campaign'.

Can we have a policy like "Ek AC lao, 10 Paudhey Lagao". In this we can ask each individual to plant 10 trees for every AC they buy/possess. Trees can be given QRCodes to identify who planted them and should be taking care of them. We can link that to Adhaar even but that's just a thought. Just imagine if this initiative gives us hundreds of trees and that too one's like "Peepal Tree" then what a tremendous effect it can have on the environment and we will not have to face the heat as today.

#Sushakt_Bharat_Abhiyaan - pichle comment m mne govt. office k andar ki Gandgi- ye kisi vyakti k lye nhi tha pr us pad pe niyukt logo k andar jo laparwahi ya Corruption h usse tha.. meri maang ase logo lo waha se nikal fekne ki nhi h.. bs govt. office ka working culture thoda strict and unke lye kuch ase campaign rkhne se hai jaha wo karmnishtha , deshprem or samaz k sukh dukh ko samazne k gunn ko sikhe.. agr koi bhul chuk hui ho to kshama chahta hu #ek_bhartiya_yuva Jai Hind Jai Bharat

Respected Prime Minister Sir, Aapne Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan ki sthapna Gandhiji k Janamdiwas pe hi ki thi.. Common Man, Students , celebrities lagbhag har vyakti ne aapka saath dia.. or aaj bhi wo abhiyaan joro se chal rha h.. m aapke desh ka ek yuva chahta h ki jse aapne desh k andar kude kachro ki safai ko dhyan dia or itna bada abhiyaan khada kr dia .. wse hi hamare government offices k andar jo gandgi hai.. uski safai k lye kuch kijiye iss Gandhi Jayanti pe.. naam ho #Sushakt Bharat Abhiyaan
