India has made significant strides in economic growth and development of its markets for businesses, thus emerging as one the fastest growing economies in the world. A business-friendly environment is a pre-requisite for the growth of a nation. A favourable business environment makes the country a favourite business destination. It not only leads to employment generation but also helps in the growth and development of an economy.

The Indian Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry is a sunrise sector for the economy and it is on the cusp of a strong phase of growth, backed by rising consumer demand and improving advertising revenues. The industry has been largely driven by increasing digitization and higher internet usage over the last decade. The Authority proposes to go for a consultation with the stakeholders for identifying issues that are required to be addressed for Ease of Doing Business in the broadcasting sector.

To sell any product advertisement is most important.when a product is good and advertisement is convincing you go for it. To promote Indian goods for domestic and international markets our strategy of advertising has to be different. The multi national company will have large advertisment budgets whereas Indian companies cannot afford it this tends to kill our products. The intnl companies encash fast and make their money & change products fast. How to get over this situation is important

Let there be an online synergy between the departments of Government of India involved to for monitoring, no red-taped delay and faster sanctions to broadcasting companies. The idea of having different clearances for SD, HD and 4K channels can be repealed and if needed, distribution bandwidth may be increased. Rules must be made tougher so that no shell or fraud or small-time unorganized entity can charge exorbitant rates taking advantage of non-availability of renowned broadcasters in an area.

In respect to GST, I want to suggest that, GST council should nominate few person from practicing CA / advocate , working at grassroot level and physically filling the returns personally, and also from businessman working at grass root level, further, Reverse Charge Mechanism from unregistered person is great problem to all, Govt. has no revenue by RCM in case of ITC available on it, further, the basic concept of GST is to charge GST on supply and not from expenses (RCM),pl.rectify, best wishes
